Lisa M. Wershay

Lisa M. Wershay passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 64. Lisa was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on November 24, 1960, the daughter of Darylene J. Peters and Jerry Wager.

She is survived by her children, Chris and Alyssa Wershay; her significant other, Steve Wershay; and her father, Jerry Wagner. 

Lisa was an amazing and loving wife and mother who welcomed all of her children's friends with open arms. Many of both children's friends even call her "mom", accepting her as a mother figure, and she loved it. Lisa had the biggest heart, especially for animals. She loved her cats and dogs as if they were also her own kids, always rescuing and adopting animals. Lisa loved to go swimming and she would hang out at the pool any chance she got; she was a little mermaid. Lisa was very close to both of her children; she was their best friend.

Lisa was a graduate of UW–Stevens Point. Until her retirement, she worked in the insurance industry.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Avenue, Hartland.  Family and friends may visit directly at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. A reception will be held at the Hartland American Legion following the service.
