Larry Lee Schouten, age 89, passed into the arms of our heavenly Father, surrounded by family, at ProHealth AngelsGrace Hospice on February 5, 2026.
Larry was born and raised in Waupun, Wisconsin, and moved to Milwaukee for college, where he attended Milwaukee School of Engineering. While in college, he met and married Alyce Wallner. They raised their family together in Hartland and were blessed with 64 years of marriage.
Larry loved to travel. His favorite destination was the island of Oahu. He also traveled to Alaska, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and enjoyed many cruises.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hattie Schouten; his wife, Alyce; and his sister, Marilyn.
He is survived and deeply missed by his brother Arvid, sister-in-law Cindy, his daughter Tamara Strelitzer and her husband James, his son Mark Schouten and his wife Susan, grandchildren Jeremy, Sean, and Amy, great-grandchildren Jocelyn, Reagan, and Theodora.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at ProHealth AngelsGrace Hospice for the love and care you gave to Larry and his family in his final days.
Relatives and friends may join the family on February 16, 2026, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland, for a visitation from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
