Born and raised in Milwaukee, Ken was the beloved son of Arthur and Erna Hintz and brother to Phyllis.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard during the Vietnam War.

Ken was married to the love of his life, Sarah Hintz, for 58 wonderful years. Together, they raised two children, Richard and Marcie, and built a life filled with love, family, and faith. He was a proud grandfather to Alex, Jacob, Ryan, and step-grandson Adam Smith, and was recently blessed with great-grandchildren Ivan and Eleanor Hintz.

A longtime member of St. Anskar's Church, Ken served on the church Vestry numerous times. He had a passion for woodworking and especially enjoyed building birdhouses along with other indoor and outdoor projects.

Ken will be remembered for his steady presence, loving heart, and the many ways he gave of himself to those around him.
