Katherine G. Hanson

Katherine “Kate” G Hanson (nee Gardner), age 65 of Hartland Wisconsin, passed away on June 26th, 2026. She passed while being comforted by her son Samuel by her side.

Kate was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. Kate is survived by her son Samuel, sister Donna (Bill) Schumell, and brother John (Karen) Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Donna Gardner, and beloved late husband Scott Hanson. 

She met the love of her life, Scott and they were wed December 14th, 1985. They spent the next decade enjoying life, including a move to Phoenix, as well as flipping what would become their forever home in Hartland. Kate and Scott would welcome their son Samuel, shortly after their 10th wedding anniversary on February 17th, 1996. Kate and Scott had long thought they were unable to be parents, and could not have been more excited and prouder to have had their son. They celebrated life as a family in the best possible way . After 20 years, Kate retired from serving as a tenant rep for Founders 3, where her creativity could be fully expressed.
