Joshua P. Millies

January 31, 1981 — March 27, 2026

Joshua P. Millies, age 45, passed away on March 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 31, 1981, in Milwaukee to Jeffrey and Deborah (Hoerig) Millies.

Josh is survived by his beloved wife, Nora; their daughters, Harlow (16), Reese (13), and Rowan (10); his parents, Debbie and Jeff; his brother, Jim (Angela), and sister, Jodi (Jason) Atchison; his parents-in-law, Maureen and Dan Arndorfer; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Richard (Liz) Arndorfer, Anna (Adam) Ayers, and Leah (Jake) Trimberger; as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, Trey, Ella, Cal, Jax, Chase, Caden, Aden, Theo, Liam, Mason, and Kaia, along with many dear friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, grandparents-in-law, and other beloved family members and friends.

Josh married Nora, his greatest love and partner, in 2005. Together they built a beautiful life in Hartland, Wisconsin, where they raised their three daughters. He fully embraced and proudly lived out his role as a devoted “girl dad,” a title he wore with great joy. He also treasured being “Uncle Josh” to his many nieces and nephews. A man of many talents, Josh was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a dedicated and true professional as an electrician at Next Electric, where he took immense pride in his work.

He had a deep love for music and a gift for bringing people together, often ending evenings behind the microphone singing karaoke and creating lasting memories with those around him. Whether it was road trips to the southern beaches with his girls or time spent in the northern woods with friends, these moments were among his favorites—keeping him grounded, connected, and surrounded by those he loved most.

Josh’s faith was a guiding force in his life, inspiring those around him and providing strength throughout his journey.

The family will always be grateful to the staff at the Froedtert Cancer Center and the Angels Grace Hospice team for the comfort, compassion, and care they provided.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in North Lake (W324 N7462 State Road 83, Hartland), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 5:00 p.m.
