John T. Schwedler

John Thomas Schwedler, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, at Horizons Kathys Place Hospice in West Bend. He is survived by his daughter, Kaelyn (James) and granddaughters Abby and Aubree. Bonnie (sister) the late Bill Hesse and family, Jim (brother)and Sandy Schwedler and family along with nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends. He was the son of Heinz and Hilda Schwedler (Oesterreich).

John was loved by his whole family and left us all with the BEST memories (plenty made us laugh!) He spent many summers with both sets of grandparents, dad, mom, Bonnie and Jim in Hustisford on Lake Sinissippi boating, swimming, fishing and water skiing. He enjoyed NASCAR and modified dirt track races, was a Packers fan and sure had a great sense of humor!

Our whole family sends heartfelt thank yous to the staff at Hartford and Froedert West Bend hospitals and to the staff at Kathys Place for their dedication and compassionate care in John's last days. We are so grateful to you all.

We are following John's wishes to have a private immediate family only funeral service on August 29 at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, Hartland. Burial will be held Saturday, October 11 at the Merton-Lisbon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Washington County Humane Society or The American Cancer Society.
