Joan T. Daley, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1930 in Okauchee. Joan was joyfully reunited in heaven with her husband, Joseph Daley; her parents, Frank and Anna Kysely; and all her siblings, Jerome, Francis, Catherine, Margaret, Mary, Tony, Justin, Bob and Winn. Joan has greatly missed them, and now they are together again.
Forever sorely missed by her daughters, Anne (Vince Mulhollon) and Mary; as well as her much loved grandchildren, Ryan and Molly. For 23 years, Joan embraced and loved on her grandchildren. She attended every special event that they were involved in up until she could no longer. She was so proud of everything they did. She was happiest spending time with them. She showed nothing but unconditional love to them and every time spent together was filled with pure joy. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Further survived by one sister-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She worked as a postal clerk at the Okauchee Post Office. Then she was a talented cake decorator for many years at Dotties Bakery in Stone Bank.
She was a long-time member of St. Clare’s in North Lake. Once she moved to Hartland she became a member at St. Charles. She was also a long-time volunteer for Lake Country Caring.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Avenue in Hartland, with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Memorials made to Zachariah Acres would be appreciated. Zachariah Acres is a place that provides events for special needs families. Joan loved going to the events there with Molly and Ryan.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers that worked directly with Joan. There have been many who have gone above and beyond to care for her and loved her like their own. Many thanks to Allay Hospice and a very special thanks to Marcy Loessin who came into our lives when we really needed her. She was mom’s first caregiver and they absolutely adored each other.
The family is requesting that guests please extend a handshake instead of a hug to Ryan and Molly.
