Eugene D. Krueger

Eugene “Gene” D. Krueger, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1933, to Edward and Ione (Hively) Krueger in Milwaukee.

Gene is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carol; their children, Susan (Mike) Heyer, Sandra (Bob) Workentine and John (Laura) Krueger; grandchildren, Jeanne Frisk, Amy Hoff, William (Kelly) Maloney, Eric (Valerie) Pope, Trenton (Rita) Krueger and Travis Krueger; great-grandchildren, Molly and Lyla Frisk, Andie, Jacob, Michael and David Maloney, Hayden and Lucy Pope, Landon Biondich, and Carson and Blake Krueger. Further survived by his cousin and best friend, Larry Krueger.

Gene loved fishing, boating, and living on Pewaukee Lake. He enjoyed building decks and being with his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Gene’s Life will be held later in spring.
