Diane P. Rozek

Diane P. Rozek, age 77, passed away at her home on September 29, 2025, in Hartland. Diane was born on January 6, 1948, in Milwaukee. She was born to parents August and Frances (nee Galinsky) Huf.

Diane had a sense of adventure, encouraged by her younger daughter, Karyle, who even convinced her to move to Australia for several years. There, she decided to become a pilot, and throughout her life, she had a love for flying. In Australia, she also enjoyed gliding, which wasn’t that surprising given her love of being in the air. For many years, she was a regular volunteer at the Sun 'n Fun air show in Lakeland, FL, and eventually became a full-time volunteer and resident at the airport. She was an avid fan of Halloween, and for many years would take a break from work for the month of October to scare people in the haunted houses at Universal Studios in Orlando.

She was a very independent lady, who was also her own handyman, and did many of her own household repairs. She was an avid reader and sports spectating grandma, watching basketball, lacrosse, baseball, and even hockey games despite the cold rinks! 

She loved board games, particularly Scrabble, and often had game gatherings with friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Karyle, and her brother Rick. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (John), grandchildren Anna and Alex, and many other relatives and friends.

If desired, memorials for Diane will be used towards a memorial tree, to be placed in Florida near the trees that memorialize her younger daughter, Karyle, and her brother, Rick.

No formal services will be held.
