Diana M. Oldenburg, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on February 18, 1943, in the charming town of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Diana was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Irene Wachowiak.
Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a dedication to her family and passions. Diana's journey through life was marked by her deep love for her family and her steadfast dedication to her work and hobbies. She shared a beautiful life with her late husband, William Oldenburg Sr., with whom she now reunites in eternal peace. Together, they raised a family grounded in love and resilience. Diana's memory will be forever cherished by her surviving children: Michael, Jennifer (Stanley) Orgas, and James. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Diana's career saw her working in the kitchens of Hartbrook Lanes and the Oconto Golf Course. Beyond her work, Diana's passions extended to the fairways and bowling alleys, where she fostered a love for golf and bowling. A proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers, Diana could often be found cheering on her favorite team, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. A woman of many talents, Diana found solace and creativity in sketching wildlife pictures, capturing the serenity and beauty of nature through her art. Her sketches were a testament to her keen eye and gentle spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of witnessing her work.
In addition to her husband and parents, Diana was predeceased by her son, Billy; daughter-in-law, Beverly Oldenburg; brother, Ron Wachowiak; and sister, Patricia. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
In accordance with Diana's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her remarkable life, allowing her family and close friends to bid farewell in an intimate setting.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Diana's memory are encouraged to make a donation to ProHealth AngelsGrace Hospice, a tribute to the compassionate care she received in her final days. Diana's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, creativity, and devotion that will forever inspire those who knew her.
