Debra A. Schoenike

Debra Ann Schoenike, age 69 of Merton, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2025, at AngelsGrace Hospice.

Debra is survived by her two children, R.J. (Penny) Arndt and Kelly (Dustin) Leonhart; her grandchildren, Kayla, Madison, Ellie, Caitlyn, and J.T.; her great-grandson, Kai; her sisters, Vickie (Steve) Stretz and Pattie (John) Dibb; and many, nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Debra was a woman of faith. She loved Jesus and her family. There wasn’t a person Debra couldn’t talk to and make a friend. She enjoyed being surrounded by family, friends and loved time with her grandchildren. Debra enjoyed the outdoors and being a rafting guide on the Peshtigo River.

A Celebration of Debra’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the American Legion Post, 231 Goodwin Avenue in Hartland from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be at 12:00 p.m. and a reception will follow.

Donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses and donations to her favorite charities.
