Carol A. Burns

Carol lived a wonderful life, raised by loving parents and blessed with a 24-year marriage to Jack, the love of her life, until his death at age 46. He was the most honorable, kind, and devoted man she ever knew. Together, they built an ever-growing family that was undeniably the center of her world.

She was a devoted mother to her eight children: John (Cheryl), Chris (Pam), Lisa (Greg), Colleen (Scott), Kathleen (Paal), Jamie (Katie), Julie (Paul), and Kelly (Sean). She was also a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Carol will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother whose life embodied selflessness, grace, and unwavering faith. She longed to be reunited with her husband, Jack, and with the loved ones who went before her. While she will be deeply missed by her family—who gave her purpose, fulfillment, and joy—she found comfort in her faith, in the promise of eternal peace, and in being reunited with her beloved Jack in heaven.

Services will begin with a visitation at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (W314 N7462 State Road 83, Hartland, WI) on Tuesday, March 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., with burial to follow for the immediate family. Friends and family are invited to gather at St. Teresa's Clare Hall following the service to share memories, stories, and comfort as they honor her life.
