Barbara M. Wolf

Barbara M. Wolf passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 97.

Barbara was born on December 20, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Edith (Heinz) Schaff. She was a graduate of Racine Park High School, and on May 14, 1949, she married Lewis “Lou” R. Wolf at Holy Name Church in Racine. They were blessed to celebrate 71 years of marriage before his death on August 12, 2020.

Barbara became a full-time, dedicated homemaker following the birth of her children. When her children were older, she worked as a secretary at Merton School for several years. She loved to square dance, bike, golf, and watch sunsets over the water, especially in Bonita Springs, Florida. She will forever be remembered for her famous words, “Wait until Dad gets home!”

Survivors include her children Thomas (Cynthia), Larry (Keri), Judi (Darwin) Tetzlaff, Dan (Jane), Tim (Terrie), Debi (Brent) Steidl and Mike (Rose), grandchildren Patrick (Naomi), Meghan (Jason) Ringer, Carlee, Scott (Amy), Heather (Wil) Crespo, Jake (Ally) Tetzlaff, Ben (Kelly), Lucas (Joelle), Trevor (Jessie) Steidl, Austen (Olivia), Alyssa, and William (Danielle) Van Ark, great-grandchildren Colin, Brady, Tyler, Finnegan, Addison, Kylen, Isabella, Elliana, Octavia, Watson, Noah, Granger, Kiya, Avery, Scarlett, Walker and baby on the way, Samuel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Dr. Hartland, WI 53029. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. A reception will follow. Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Hartland.
