Aileen L. White

Apr 30, 1954 — Oct 31, 2026

Aileen Lynch White, age 72, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, passed away on October 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and a love for her family that will live on for generations.

Born on April 30, 1954, in Evanston, Illinois, Aileen was the daughter of Owen M. Lynch and Janet Webster. She grew up alongside her siblings, Leslie, Joyce, and Ted, building the foundation for a life filled with meaningful relationships and treasured memories.

After graduating from high school, Aileen continued her education at Columbia College, studying Travel Administration. Her love of adventure took her to Europe, where she traveled with friends and discovered a lifelong appreciation for exploring new places and experiences.

In 1975, Aileen married her high school sweetheart, James R. White, at Saint David’s Church. Together, their early life included exploring different companies and cities like Davenport, IA and Neenah, WI before finding roots in Stone Bank, where they built a life centered on family, love, and countless shared memories. Over 51 years of marriage, they raised three sons, Andrew, Patrick, and Benjamin, creating a family that would always be the greatest joy of Aileen’s life.

Aileen found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved crafting, gardening, and cooking, and could often be found immersed in a cookbook, sorting through a craft bin, or searching online for her next project or inspiration. She had a natural curiosity and a gift for finding something special in the everyday. Whether through a homemade meal, a thoughtful creation, or a garden she lovingly tended, Aileen found ways to bring warmth and care into the lives of those around her.

While Aileen's life included many meaningful chapters, from her time at college to working at Garden Mart in Mukwonago and as a travel agent at Worldwide Travel, her greatest and most cherished role was that of wife, mother, and nana. Her sons were her pride and joy, and nothing meant more to her than time with family. The love, care, and dedication she poured into them were the truest reflection of who she was.

Aileen's legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely and the many lives she touched along the way. She is survived by her beloved husband, James R. White; sister, Joyce (Gary) Schumacher; her sons, Andrew (Valerie) White, Patrick (Jenna) White, and Benjamin White; and her cherished grandchildren, Kaydence, Madelynn, Declan, and Callum, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She also leaves behind extended family and dear friends whose lives were made brighter by having known her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen M. Lynch and Janet Webster, and her brothers, Les and Ted

Rather than holding a formal service, the family invites friends and loved ones to share a memory, story, or condolence on Aileen's tribute wall. They welcome the opportunity to celebrate her life by remembering the moments, laughter, and relationships that made her so special.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
