Warren H. Carstensen, age 98 of Brookfield, died peacefully on October 11, 2021.

Warren was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin on June 15, 1923, the son of Howard and Alma (Oelke) Carstensen. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Warren worked as an estimator, retiring from Moebius Printing Company. Warren built his own house in Brookfield in which he lived for 66 years. He enjoyed gardening, stained glass and coin collecting.

Preceded in death by parents; wife of 72 years, Elizabeth Charity (Isham); son, Chris; brothers, Donald (Betty), David, and Robert; many in-laws; nieces; and a nephew.

Survived by his daughter, Cheryl Dean; daughter in-law, Diane Carstensen; sister, Mary Ann Hernke; grandchildren, Brandon (Marianna) Herrera, Victoria (Geoffrey) Gagnon, Kira (Christian) Greenwood, Brittany (Jason) Ruediger, Gary, Kevin and Brian Carstensen; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Amelia, Parker, Jackson, Henry and Dekker; many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Warren will be sorely missed by family and friends. He was very appreciative of his helpful neighbors, especially Laurie Prince

A celebration of Warren and Betty’s lives will be held at a later date.
