Philip M Rubenzer

Philip “Phil” Rubenzer left this world suddenly on May 31, 2022.

A life-long Wisconsin resident, he focused on the sciences, working as a chemist and enjoying the variety of wildlife found in nature. He also had musical talent, playing in several Milwaukee Celtic bands in the 1990s and many informal music sessions. His love of Irish music led him to compile a book Midwestern Irish Session Tunes, which has been used by many musicians and is still used for students. Phil enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others and always broadening his own knowledge.

He spent his last years at Knollcrest in Delafield, WI.

Phil was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene, and survived by his brothers Ron and Bernie Rubenzer.
