Lenore F. Hoare

Lenore F. Hoare of Stoughton, Wisconsin entered into the Creators eternal presence January 8, 2022.

Lenore was born January 25, 1936 to Herman and Edith (Mueller) Clasen in West Allis, Wisconsin. Lenore attended Custer High School and graduated with her class of 1954. While working as a supervisor for Farmers Mutual (American Family) she met and married the love of her life, Neil, in 1956. They were married for 54 years until his passing in 2010. The family relocated to Stoughton, Wisconsin in 1975.

Lenore, a concert pianist, was passionate about playing her piano, and playing her vinyl on her Zenith Hi-Fi stereo. When she wasn’t filling the house with warmth and kindness, she was enjoying her music, bowling, motorcycling, archery and shooting. She cheered the Packers and high school basketball. Recently she enjoyed traveling and cooking via cable television. Her greatest passion was people, folks, and children. Lenore cherished playing dolls with her great granddaughters.
She had great fun watching her friends and family on Facebook.

Mom excelled at propping up friends and family, supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.
She made it her mission to improve the lives of others even if it involved personal sacrifice. Her personal and shared mantra, “Always be kind.”

In 2014, Lenore retired after 38 years of her favorite career as a cash exchanger for SuperValu and Wal-Mart.

Lenore is preceded in eternal life by her parents Herman Clasen and Edith Emerson, husband, Neil, Sister Darlene Clasen and Brother Glenway Clasen. Son-in-laws Mark Baltes, Daniel Smith and Kevin Oren.

Lenore will forever be remembered by her loving daughters (her Oscars) Darlynn Hoare, Lanette Oren, and Ronelle (Stuart) Escher of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, her beloved grandchildren Jordan (Brittany) Oren, Colton Oren, Sierra (Andy) Ylvisaker, Weston (Brianne) Hoare-Baltes and Carson Escher her treasured Great Grandchildren, Annahlee, Brooklyn, Lawson, Blaze, Oaklee, Braeden, Rayanna, and Landon. Her beloved family extends to her brother Truman (Sharon) Clasen of Sussex, Wisconsin and her Sister-in-law Anne Clasen of Hartford, Wisconsin, the Higgins’ of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, the Swosinski’s of Clintonville, Wisconsin and the Jaszewski’s of Appleton, Wisconsin. She also considered all her Walmart co-workers, customers and associates as family.

A friend and mother to many she is additionally survived by several, young and old she shared wit, wisdom and council within Tootsies kitchen over her humorous and cantankerous coffee conversations. Her open-door homespun welcome extended to everyone, without judgment or prejudice.

Please join us for a celebration of life at Halverson’s 1965 Highway 51 Stoughton on Sunday February 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
