Jeffrey C. Gruenewald

Jeffrey Curtis Gruenewald, age 69, of Hartland, WI passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

Jeff was born on August 14, 1954, in Waukesha, WI, the son of John L. Gruenewald Sr. and Marian E. (Meske) Gruenewald.

Jeff, or Montana Blue as he was lovingly nicknamed, worked for many years in masonry construction. He loved fishing, spending time in the outdoors, and had a fondness for animals, especially birds. Jeff enjoyed bowling, listening to country music, and watching all types of sports, especially baseball.

Jeff is survived by his son, Kurt Gilboy; his brothers, John L. Gruenewald Jr., James Gruenewald, and Joseph Gruenewald; and his sisters, Jae Eckoldt, Jackie (Bob) Boeschenstein, Janet (Al) Runingen, Joyce (Tom) Ellis, and Jill (Tom) Gouger. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; stepbrother, Lee Gruenewald; brother-in-law, Eugene Eckoldt; and sister-in-law, Patricia Gruenewald.
