Leroy J. Schuman

Leroy J. Schuman, age 86, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2020 with his wife Shirley and his son Lee by his side. He was born to Elmer and Lenora Schuman in Watertown, WI on January 29, 1934.

LeRoy was devoted to his church family, having served many years as an elder also enjoying choir and Bible classes. His hobbies included trains, photography, love of family vacations and gatherings, he also enjoyed fixing anything that needed fixing.

Survivors include his wife Shirley, son Lee Schuman, daughter Kim (Dave) Holze, granddaughters Kathryn and Emily Holze, brother Robert Schuman, sister Gladys Simerl, sister-in-law Kathy Anderson and brother-in-law Gene (Laurie) Whitbeck.

The family is thankful to Aurora Hospice Care.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church 31385 Hill Rd, Hartland, WI 53029. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Divine Redeemer or the Hartland Food Pantry.
