Keri E. Rasmussen

Keri was born February 29, 1976 and passed away July 31, 2021. Keri was baptized into Christ, March 1976, raised in Hartland, Wisconsin, attended Zion Ev. Lutheran Elementary School, where she grew in her faith and was confirmed in May 1990, into the Lutheran Church. She was fond of singing and performing. She actively participated in Broadway Company while enrolled at Arrowhead High School. She graduated in 1994 and continued her education at Ripon College for Pre-Medicine. Following college, she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where she enjoyed the warmer climate and beach life. She loved to rescue dogs and stay active. She worked as a mortgage broker assisting people into their forever homes. After leaving the mortgage business, she found her true calling as a head hunter, connecting employers to well-suited candidates.

Keri is survived by her parents Dennis and Karen Rasmussen, fiancée Keith Elders, and siblings Laura (Chris) Dwyer, Linda (Luke) Plamann, Nadine Rasmussen (Collin Manor), Michael (Brianna) Rasmussen, Peter (Megan) Rasmussen, and Rachel (Michael) Sherman. She was a beloved aunt to Crandon, Thomas, Declan, Eilish, Emilia, Lark, and Cora. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents David and Naomi Rasmussen and Robert and Eva Clooten.

The family would like to thank the staff of New Hanover Regional Medical Center for the loving care they provided during her last days.

Her visitation will be held on the 13th of November 2021 starting at 10:00am, memorial service to follow at 11:00am at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave, Hartland, WI. 53029.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Keri Rasmussen’s name to Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.
