John R. Wagner

John Raymond Wagner, age 63, passed after a long hard-fought battle with cancer on April 19, 2020.

He was the youngest of four, born August 9, 1956 in Elmhurst, IL and moved to Hartland, WI about 25 years ago. John was an occasional patron of the Phoenix drinking and eatery establishment; had a quick wit; and enjoyed playing with, breaking, and rebuilding countless gadgets.

He is survived by sister Gerri (Crider) and her husband Gary, brothers Matt and Wally, and niece Jennifer (Crider) as well as many cousins and close friends.

He is loved and sadly missed by all.

There will be a celebration of John’s life in Hartland when people are permitted to gather. He will be laid to rest alongside his parents, Matthew M. and Antonette M. Wagner, at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
