John J. Bauer

July 27, 1976 — September 22, 2021

John Joseph Bauer, 45 years old, was born on July 27, 1976 in Brookfield, WI and found peace on September 22, 2021 in Spring, TX.

John grew up in Hartland, WI where he attended St. Charles Elementary, Hartland North Elementary and graduated from Arrowhead High School in 1994.

John always had a passion for cooking and being in the kitchen. After starting in the restaurant industry at an early age, he quickly found his passion and worked hard to achieve his goal of managing a kitchen, preparing menu items and adding his own flair to recipes.

John spent most of his life in Southeastern Wisconsin living in Hartland, Milwaukee, Madison and Beloit. He spent a few years in Southern California enjoying the sunshine, trips to Disneyland and spending time with his sister, brother-in-law and nieces (which they loved!).

John had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was incredible at keeping in touch with those near and far. John also had a passion for social issues and always loved a good political debate. He leaves behind his parents, Wayne and Diane Bauer, sister Kristina (Hawfield), brother-in-law Ramsay (Hawfield), nieces Sydney (12) and Alexa (7), aunts, uncles, cousins and countless dear friends.

A visitation will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM with a Memorial Service being held at 12:00PM at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Avenue, Hartland, Wisconsin 53029.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations to help others be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in John’s name. https://supporting.afsp.org/campaign/JohnBauerMemorialFund
