Donald J. Feyrer

Donald J. Feyrer, 83, Town of Delafield, died peacefully at his residence on December 28, 2021. Don was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 6, 1938, son of Joseph and Marguerite (Kampschroer) Feyrer. Survivors include his wife, Sue; daughter, Renee (Mike) Powers; son, Matt (Debbie) Feyrer; grandsons, Jon and Jared Powers; and brother, Richard (Loralai) Feyrer.

Don attended Marquette High School and Marquette University. He graduated as an electrical engineer and began working at Cutler-Hammer where he held various positions and had a successful career for thirty-six years. Don was a very active member of the Vagabond ski club where he enjoyed skiing, biking and hiking, and made many treasured lifelong friends. After retirement, he and Sue spent part of each year in Tucson where his love of the mountains grew. He spent his time there hiking, rockhounding and volunteering at Tohono Chul Park. Summers were spent taking family and friends for cruises on Pewaukee Lake and helping remove buckthorn from Lapham Peak State Park.

He will be forever missed and loved, and his positive attitude remembered.
